Q1 2021 Consumer Finance Apps Surge on iOS in Brazil

In the first quarter of 2021, Brazil's iOS platform saw interesting movements in the consumer finance app category. Sensor Tower provided the data, offering a glimpse at the performance trends for the top five applications in this sector.

The Trader's Platform experienced a spike in revenue during the second week of January, reaching around $4.5K, followed by fluctuations with a notable peak of approximately $4.1K in late February. Downloads for the app peaked at nearly 1.7K in the last week of January, while weekly active users data was not provided.

iBear LLC's Money Pro: Personal Finance AR showed a more consistent revenue trend, with a high point of around $350 in mid-February. Downloads remained relatively low, with the highest number reaching 80 in the last week of January. Active users data was not available for this app.

Cleevio s.r.o.'s Spendee Money & Budget Planner had its revenue oscillating, with a modest peak at $170 in mid-January. Downloads saw a significant increase, hitting a peak of 270 in the third week of February. Weekly active users showed a decline from over 1K at the beginning of the quarter to around 689 by the end.

Splitwise saw a notable increase in revenue towards the end of March, reaching approximately $175. The app's downloads started strong with over 4.7K in late December, but ended the quarter with just over 500 downloads. Active users decreased from around 10K to 7.6K during the quarter.

Finally, YNAB had a fluctuating revenue pattern, with a notable rise to $270 in mid-January. Downloads were extremely low but surged to 370 in the second week of March. The app's active users also grew significantly in the same week, from an average of around 27 to 162.
